Hussain has rejected the bail application, saying that legal action can not be guaranteed until the end. میڈیا رپورٹس کے مطابق الطاف حسین کے وکلاءنے ضمانت کے لئے درخواست دائر کی تھی جس میں الطاف حسین کی صحت کو بنیاد بنا کر ان کی ضمانت کی استدعا کی گئی تھی تاہم پولیس نے یہ درخواست مسترد کر دی ہے اور کہا ہے کہ قانونی کارروائی مکمل ہونے as they can not be released on bail.
