According to the media reports, the lunar eclipse will be visible in the region of  America ( south America and north America). Whereas, northern and eastern Europe will also be able to witness the amazing view of moon. It  is reported that a total lunar eclipse, the first since December 2011, will take place Tuesday with the Americas best placed to get a glimpse.
It will be the first of four consecutive phenomena of this kind this year and next, series astronomers call a tetrad.
According to the astronomers last time a tetrad took place was in 2003-2004, with the next predicted for 2032-2033.However a cold front draped over the Pacific Northwest into northern California, could bring some cloudiness that may hinder the view. Near and along the coast of Washington State, spotty showers could fall, but for the most part, the western two-thirds of the United States will be dry, tranquil and perfect for viewing tonight’s moon show.

During a total lunar eclipse, the moon is entirely immersed in Earth shadow, and can take on a dusky “blood red” color due to the scattering of sunlight through the edges of Earth’s atmosphere. It is also named as blood moon.
