KARACHI: PIA introduces SMS and call services in its fleet of Boeing 777. PIA announced this on Wednesday.
According to PIA MD Junaid Yunus said that the service will initially be offered on Boeing 777 which is designated on long-haul destinations including US, Canada and Europe. A total of 9 Boeing 777s are part of PIA’s fleet all of which are designated for long-haul flights. The passengers will now be able to avail in-flight SMS and telephone services using the devices installed at every seat. Service charges and provider are still unconfirmed.
Last month PIA also announced the facility of Wi-fi but so far no progress is been carried out to make this facility function able.
