LAHORE: Gourmet foods, one of the largest names in Pakistan’s confectionery industry is rumored to introduce a smartphone in the market to compete with existing brands. (HSN)

The company will be importing smartphones from China and will be sold after being re-branded throughout the country.


The company is going to face stiff competition in the market, with the presence of several Chinese, international and Pakistani brands such as Xiaomi, Huawei, Samsung, HTC, Sony, Qmobile, Voice and G-five being the prominent ones.
The smartphone is expected to hit the markets soon.
Gourmet is currently operating over 100 branches throughout Pakistan, with major expansion is progress. The company started it’s operations 27 years ago, in 1987.
