Cellular users reach 129.6m in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: According to a report of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the cellular users in Pakistan have reached 129.6 million at the end of September 2013.
The statistical report published by PTA shows that the Mobile phone users in Pakistan have reached high level of 72.27 percent, up from 71.78 percent in July 2013, while the total cellular subscribers of Mobilink was counted as 129, 583,076, topping the market at 37.37 million subscribers.
The second rank is for Telenor with recorded 32.34 million subscribers, whereas Ufone with 24.80 million subscribers and Zong is fast catching up with Ufone, with 22.28 million customers, while Warid managed to grab 12.79 million customers at the end of September 2013.
