VOLGOGRAD: At least ten people have been killed and several others injured by a deadly blast on trolley bus in southern city of Russia Volgograd on Monday, as reported by Russian media to AFP.
The explosion was so powerful that the trolley bus, which is a common means of transport in Russia, has been completely destroyed.
Official of Russian emergency ministry confirmed to local news agency that according to initial reports, ten people have been killed and many others injured, but it is yet to determine that whether it was suicide blast or time device bomb planted in trolley bus.
This is the second blast that rumpled the southern city of Russia on second consecutive day, as on Sunday, a female suicide bomber blew her up in railway station of his city which killed 18 so far and injured dozens.
These two acts of terror have become a cause of worry for Russian administration because after six weeks Russia is to hold the Winter Olympics in the Black Sea resort city of Sochi.
