KARACHI: The wait is to get over soon as ‘Operation-021’, Pakistan’s first ever spy action thriller, is set for an Independence Day release all across the country.
Yes it’s confirmed by sources that most anticipated movie of this year will hit theatres on August 14, where as it may be released in 20 other countries as well simultaneously.
The film is expected to pull a huge crowd and deliberately not releasing on Eid because of two major reasons, First 14th August is falling on Thursday so a long weekend is in mind of producers in terms of business, secondly it will get a larger share of screens as compared to Eid because of big budgeted B-Town movies influx.
As per expectations, O21 may surpass Waar’s successful haul at box office to become the highest grossing film of Pakistan.
Its first official trailer has taken the country by storm and film goers have made up their minds to book their tickets of first day shows.
The film is a collaboration of Azad Films and One Motion Pictures which starring Shaan in the lead alongside Aamina Sheikh, Ayub Khoso, Shamoon Abbasi, Iman Ali, and Gohar Rasheed. Senior Actress Zeba Bukhtiyar is the executive producer of the film and his son Azaan Sami Khan is the co-producer whereas it has been directed by Jami. International Award Winning Writer Summer Nicks has given the screen play and worked as co-directer for this action-packed movie
