Dubai: National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has rejected
Veena Malik’s application for Identity Card. Veena Malik submitted
request for NICOP (National Identity Card
for Overseas Pakistanis) in Pakistani Consulate. NICOP is issued to
Pakistani citizens who are living abroad. According to Veena Malik’s
application, she was born in 1982 which means she is 31 years old now.
Her Original name in documents is Zahida Malik.NADRA’s Objection:
Though Veena provided almost all legal details for NICOP but there was a major error in her documents. Veena Malik is over 18 and eligible for Identity Card but her age difference with her Younger Sister is really odd. Veena’s Documents says that she is 2 months elder than her Sister.
When NADRA officers asked Veena to clarify this embarrassing mistake, she didn’t give convincing answer. It was really shocking for NADRA Staff and then Veena increased their doubt when she didn’t respond well. At last NADRA staff decided to refuse Veena’s request.
