Kenyan plane crashes into building

KENYA: Cargo plane crashes into a building shortly after the take off.

According to the media reports, the cargo airplane crashes in a commercial building in the center of the city, shortly after takeoff from the Kenyan capital’s main airport.

It was not immediately clear if there were any casualties, but police sources said all on the plane were feared dead.

The plane crashed shortly after dawn Wednesday in an area outside the airport where there are office buildings and factories which would be expected to be largely empty at that hour.

After the crash the Kenya Airports authorities said in a press conference that:

“A Fokker 50 cargo plane with four people on-board has this morning crashed at a commercial building.”
