Islamabad: According to a report published in local news paper of Pakistan a summary has been made to increase the salary of State bank of Pakistan. It was also stated that salaries of bank presidents in Pakistan is over 1 crore rupees. The report also stated the name of bank presidents which include Mohsin Na Khani president of Standard Chartered, Naveed Khan President of Faisal Bank, Atif Bajwa president of Bank Al- Falah. These bank presidents earn a monthly salary of about 1 crore and 25 lacs.
In the report it was also published that there are other private banks whose presidents earn salaries up to 60 lacs. The name of presidents and banks were stated as Nauman Dar president of Habib Bank earns a monthly income of 60 lacs and Atif Bukhari president of United Bank Limited (UBL) earns a monthly income of 60 lac rupees.
The summary also mentions that President of State Bank of Pakistan is earning a monthly income of Rs. 9 lacs only. While president of National Bank of Paksitan is earning Rs.25 lacs as his monthly income. It also stated the incomes of presidents of private banks.
State Bank president earns only 9 lacs per month while National bank president earns 25 lacs per month and private bank presidents earn more than 1 crore in a month, according to summary.
This summary has been remade in which it is demanded to increase the salary of president state bank. Previously a similar summary was made at the time of President Asif Ali Zardari but it was rejected by federal secretary finance.
