February 5th Declared ‘Shahid Afridi Day’ by Mayor of Port Arthur

Shahid Afridi has been awarded many accolades throughout his career for his brilliant performances in Cricket. This time Shahid Khan Afridi has achieved something totally different from his previous achievements.
The mayor of the City of Port Arthur, Deloris “Bobbie” Prince in Texas has given the honorary keys of the city of Port Arthur to Shahid Khan Afridi. Port Arthur is situated in Texas USA. This has been tweeted by Anjum Tahirkheli who is currently chairing the Afridi Foundation.
Shahid Khan Afridi currently is present in United States. He was invited by the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) to visit there. Shahid Khan Afridi will be visiting New York, New Jersey and Florida on 7^th to 9^th of February 2014. This schedule has been telecasted in a video by ICNA.
ICNA also stated that they have organised a cricket camp in New Jersey. It is also reported that before Shahid Khan Afridi visited New York, he paid visits to Louisiana and Texas where he did some fundraising for his Shahid Afridi Foundation.
