War on terror has been a hot topic of discussion since 9/11/2001 and Pakistan has been its main
victim for more than a decade. After a 12 years of war against terror our finance minister at last
came up with a statemenment that this war of terror have costed Pakistan loss of more than $100 Billion
US$.It has never been a war of Pakistan as Pakistan was just used as a link for this war. This war
on terror has damaged Pakistan more than anyone. A loss or deficit of 100 Billion Dollars is too
much for a developing country like Pakistan. A country where people struggle a lot to get their home
running 100 Billion Dollar means a lot. Now this news has become the most discussed topic on TV channels
of Pakistan. Money is not doubt a big issue but a issue that is bigger than money is preciuos lives
which this war on terror claimed. More than 40 thousand Pakistani’s died in this war against terrorism.
The war which has nothing to do with Pakistan and its people, a war that has been imposed by us.
This war against terrorism has given some uncureable scars. The scars are the families of those
innocent pepole that died without any reason. This loss is more than the loss of 100 Billion Dollars
thousands of mothers have lost their sons, thousands of wives have lost their husbands. This war really
have hurted Pakistan very badly and Pakistan have to pay for it for very very long even after this
war on terror ends. Lets hope that this war gets over soon so that we get peace all around us, so
that our army spend more time on border than giving security inside cities. The war against terror
has also increased the number of enemies of Pakistan as now people of Afghainstan also have started
hating Pakistan.
