Flash Mobs Grab Shopping Persons Attention In Malls

Karachi: A new trend of flash mob dancing is being witnessed in several shopping malls of the metropolitan city of Karachi. It is probably one of the tactics used by the malls to attract the attention of the crowd. While people roam around the malls, spontaneously music at high volume is played. Few people from the crowd gather up and arrange themselves for the dance performance. It is only them who know what the crowd would get to see.

The dancers perform well with good co-ordination and skills at various songs. Play of loud music and dance performance, distracts people attention. People of all genders and age groups engage themselves in entertainment through the dance performance.

Seeing some one dancing in room, at family gathering, occasion is no surprise but the ‘flash mob’ concept with dancing team would surprise many people who would give up their purpose to see what the ‘team’ has to present.

It is likely that they are paid people hired by the shopping malls owners to entertain the comers. Likely, it is the tactic adopted to captivate people attention and providing them ‘entertainment’ display, thereby marketing and promoting their business.

On other hand, Being westerly dressed up, wearing make up, dancing with boys, they offer good thing to people. The crowd at the malls has said that it was pleasing and entertaining to see the dancers gathering up spontaneously. ‘It is good to seeing the live dance performance at mall’, said one of the attendees.
